Nolan Arenado named National League Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

St. Louis Cardinals All-Star Nolan Arenado was named the National League Player of the Week after his performance against the Yankees.

In the three-game series against New York, Arenado had a total of five RBI's and in the series before that against the Cubs he added three.

Arenado had the highest batting average in the National League this week at .476. He tied for second in home runs with three and he tied for second for on-base percentage with 1.560.

This is his second time earning the honor this season.
