Mizzou drops rivalry game with Arkansas, loses third straight game

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Women's Basketball lost its third consecutive SEC game on Sunday afternoon, falling to Arkansas 67-58 at home. The Razorbacks ran away with the lead in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Tigers 18-10 in the final 10 minutes.

With 8:48 left in the game, Hayley Frank hit a jump shot to cut Mizzou's deficit to 52-50, but Arkansas responded with a 12-4 scoring run that stretched into the final two minutes of the game, allowing the rival Razorbacks to seal the win.

Ashton Judd was Mizzou's leading scorer with 22 points. She finished the game shooting 66% from the field and 75% from three-point range. Judd also posted a team-high six rebounds and three steals. Hayley Frank was the only other Tiger to score in double figures, finishing with 13 points.

As a team, Arkansas ended the game with a higher field goal and three-point percentage than Mizzou. The Tigers forced more turnovers than the Razorbacks but only managed to turn those 16 turnovers into seven points.

After Sunday's loss, Mizzou holds an overall record of 11-10 this season and is 2-6 in conference games at the halfway mark of SEC play.

Up next - Mizzou returns to action in exactly one week. The Tigers will travel to Knoxville to face Tennessee on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m.
