Dawn Sullivan adds new addition to Mizzou volleyball staff

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou volleyball coach Dawn Sullivan made a new addition to her staff on Thursday adding Arielle Wilson as her Defensive and Recruiting Coordinator.

Wilson has spent the past four seasons as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Georgia Tech helping to lead them to four postseason appearances.

Wilson coached three student-athletes to All-American honors at Georgia Tech including three-time All-American outside hitter Julia Bergmann.

Before her time at Georgia Tech, Wilson served as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Michigan State during the 2018 season specializing in middle blocker training and team blocking techniques. Wilson has also coached at DePaul University and served as a coach for the outdoor beach volleyball program with First Alliance Volleyball Club.

In her playing days, Wilson was apart of Penn State's team winning four NCAA Championships and four Big Ten Championships. Wilson was recognized as a three-time AVCA All-American. Professionally, she played five seasons in Poland, Azerbaijan, Indonesia and Italy and was also a USA Women's National Team Member in 2013.
