Mizzou volleyball falls to Auburn after big lead

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou volleyball team held a 2-0 set lead going into the third set, but the other Tigers from Auburn battled back to take the match 3-2.

The MU offense was led by Anna Dixon with 19 kills, plus Kaylee Cox had 13 and Jordan Iliff added 12. Most of the set ups came off of freshman setter Riley Buckley's 42 assists.

Libero Skylar Buckley led the defense with 14 digs and Kaylee Cox had 13.

Mizzou out-blocked Auburn 11-5 with Trista Strasser having the most with five.

Up next - the Tigers will rematch Sunday at the Hearnes Center at 1 p.m.
