COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The four-time defending Women's College World Series (WCWS) champion and the national runner-up in two of the last four seasons are both visiting Columbia for the 2025 SEC softball season. Mizzou released its complete conference schedule for its upcoming campaign on Wednesday, highlighted by a pair of home weekend series against Oklahoma and Texas.

The Sooners are slated to visit Mizzou Softball Stadium for MU's home opener, starting on March 21. Mizzou's former Big 12 Conference rival and one of the two newest members of the SEC boasted a 235-15 overall record over the last four seasons, winning four national championships during that span.

Texas will travel to face Mizzou two weeks later on the weekend of April 4-6. The Longhorns ended last season as the WCWS runner-up with an overall record of 55-10.

The Tigers begin SEC action on March 7 at Kentucky. Then, after playing a 24-game conference schedule, the team wraps up their SEC slate at home on May 3 against Georgia.

All eight of Mizzou's 2025 conference opponents earned an NCAA Tournament berth last season.
