Mizzou Softball lands first transfer portal commitment of offseason

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Larissa Anderson and her coaching staff have secured their first commitment out of the transfer portal this offseason. Former Kentucky outfielder Taylor Ebbs announced on social media that she is transferring to Mizzou for the 2025 season.

Ebbs batted .311 during her junior season, posting eight home runs and 31 RBIs over 39 games. Over her three-year college career, she owns a .272 batting average, 25 home runs and 85 RBIs. Ebbs also recorded a .962 fielding percentage in more than 140 appearances at Kentucky.

The Oregon native joins a Mizzou softball team that just recorded a 48-win season, their most victories in a single campaign since 2011, and fell only one win short of a trip to the Women's College World Series.
