New Heights: Mizzou Gymnastics records record-breaking team score
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No. 7 Mizzou Gymnastics has reached new heights.
The Tigers (12-4) earned their best score in program history, posting a 198.100 in their win over No. 13 Auburn (10-5) at the Hearnes Center. MU became one of just five teams in the nation to hit the 198.000-mark this season.

During Sunday's victory, Mizzou clinched the program's second-best score on bars (49.575), tied its second-highest tally on floor in program history (49.700), set a new season-high score on beam (49.450) and matched its best finish on vault this season (49.375) in front of nearly 4,000 fans.
Additionally, the Tigers captured at least a share of three of the meet's event titles and recorded 13 individual scores of 9.900 or better, including 10 from its senior class on Senior Day.
Not only was Amari Celestine crowned the meet's All-Around winner (39.650), she also claimed the vault (9.925) and floor (9.975) titles. The California native's 9.975 routine on floor tied her career-high on that apparatus and he 39.650 all-around score was the sixth-best in program history.
Moore and Mara Titarsolej split the meet's crown on bars with 9.950 performances, along with Auburn's Olivia Greaves. Moore was one of three MU gymnasts to reach a new career-best score in that event, joining Kyra Burns (9.925) and Olivia Kelly (9.875).
Addison Lawrence paced the Tigers on beam with a season-high 9.925 score, and fan-favorite Helen Hu performed a 9.900 routine in her final meet at the Hearnes Center.
Up next - Mizzou hits the road to face its SEC rival to end the regular season. The Tigers are scheduled to compete against No. 16 Arkansas (7-8) at Bud Walton Arena on Friday, March 14th at 7 p.m.
