Mizzou wide receiver enters the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Tigers may lose a highly-touted receiver in the upcoming transfer window.

Former four-star wide receiver James Madison II announced on Tuesday that he is entering the transfer portal, according to reports from Matt Zenitz and CBS Sports. Over the course of his career at Mizzou, Madison played in three games as a true freshman and three more this year.

According to 247 Sports, the 6-3, 210-pounder was the 57th-ranked wide receiver in the entire country, and was a top-50 player in the state of Florida.
