KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Football will potentially face the departure of another true freshman talent.

Courtney Crutchfield, a former consensus four-star wide receiver, announced on social media that he's planning to put his name into the transfer portal.

The Pine Bluff, Arkansas, native did not record a catch during his freshman season with the Tigers.

Crutchfield becomes the fifth member of MU's 2024 recruiting class to enter the transfer portal. According to On3, three of that group's top four prospects have become transfer portal entries over the last seven days.

Overall, 12 players from Mizzou's 2024 roster have joined a lengthy list of people in the portal, including defensive ends Williams Nwaneri and Jaylen Brown, running back Kewan Lacy, wide receiver Mekhi Miller and linebacker Brayshawn Littlejohn.
