Mizzou secures 17 signatures, inks fourth top 25 recruiting class in five years

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Future Missouri Tigers have officially put pen to paper.

Mizzou cemented 17 commitments to its 2025 recruiting class, receiving signed National Letters of Intent from each of those student-athletes to continue their football careers in Columbia.

"I think they all had a great energy about them and a vibe when they came on campus. They evaluated the opportunity. They understood what Missouri has become, and what we're doing. Their constant ability to come back to watch games and be around us, I think was something that everybody was excited about. I think the other thing was, this was a strong class," head coach Eli Drinkwitz said at Wednesday's press conference. "They all stayed together, group text, were constantly recruiting to make this the class that we wanted it to be."

According to the recruiting service On3, Drinkwitz and his coaching staff have constructed the No. 18-ranked overall recruiting class in the nation and the No. 11-ranked group in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). This is the fourth time in five years that Coach Drinkwitz has inked a recruiting class ranked No. 25 or higher.

Based on On3's industry rating, Mizzou's 2025 class features 10 four-star prospects, more than half of the entire group, and signees from 10 different states.
