COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No. 21 Mizzou could be without its starting quarterback and leading rusher for Saturday's road trip to Tuscaloosa. Brady Cook and Nate Noel are among three players who are listed as 'doubtful' to suit up against No. 15 Alabama.

Earlier on Wednesday, a report from ESPN said Noel would miss this upcoming contest due to a foot injury, but the team has not made an official decision yet for Saturday's game, per a team spokesperson.

Cook is battling an ankle injury that he suffered on the opening drive of last week's game against Auburn, which forced him to exit the contest until the final minute of the third quarter.

Wide receiver Mookie Cooper is also currently considered 'doubtful' to play at Alabama, along with six other Tigers who are being labeled as 'questionable' for Mizzou's Week 9 matchup.
