Mizzou rides fast start to season-opening rout of Murray State
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou football was locked in from the opening kick of Thursday night's season opener against Murray State. The Tigers began the 2024 campaign with a 51-0 win over the Racers in front of Faurot Field's sixth straight sold-out crowd.

After forcing a turnover on downs, the Tigers found the end zone again with Nate Noel scoring his first touchdown in a Mizzou uniform.
Finally, moments later, another newcomer Toriano Pride Jr. put another touchdown on the scoreboard with a 25-yard pick six to make it a 21-0 game.
Thursday's game marked the fastest time that Mizzou has ever reached 21 points in program history, scoring three touchdowns in just five minutes and 19 seconds.
