Mizzou Football lands four-star running back prospect

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Eli Drinkwitz and his staff secured a commitment to their 2024 recruiting class on Thursday night. Kewan Lacy, a four-star running back from Lancaster, Texas, committed to Mizzou over Alabama and Ole Miss.

247 Sports Composite ranks Lacy as the 17th-best running back in the 2024 class and the 42nd-best prospect in the state of Texas. The 6'0", 205-pound recruit is also considered a top 100 prospect by On3.

Lacy is the second running back committed to the Tigers' 2024 recruiting class. Mizzou also got a commitment from three-star running back Austyn Dendy back in September.

Mizzou's 2024 recruiting class is now ranked 30th in the nation, according to 247 Sports.
