RECAP: Mizzou football improves to 5-0 with first SEC win

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 23 Mizzou football team beat Vanderbilt, 38-21, in the first game of conference action to remain undefeated in 2023. MU's 5-0 start is the program's best since 2013.

In Saturday's win, the Tiger offense was firing on all cylinders. Quarterback Brady Cook finished with more than 390 yards in the air and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, wide receiver Luther Burden caught for more than 100 yards for the fourth-straight game.

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company will head into a ranked match up against LSU at Faurot Field on Oct. 7 as one of the only undefeated teams remaining in the SEC.
