Mizzou’s Jordan Elliott declares for NFL Draft

Mizzou defensive lineman Jordan Elliott announced on social media that he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Numerous NFL scouts and scouting agencies have listed Elliott as a first-round or second-round grade. Elliott played two seasons for the Tigers since transferring from Texas.

Elliott's junior season was a breakout season as he led the team in tackles for loss. Pro Football Focus rated Elliott with the second highest grade for all interior defensive linemen in college football.

Mizzou has not had a player selected in the first round of the NFL Draft since Miami selected Charles Harris with the 22nd overall pick in 2017. The 2020 NFL Draft takes place April 23rd through April 25th.
