COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A sophomore talent is joining Mizzou Baseball's list of transfer portal entries.

MU utility player Trey Callaway is entering the transfer portal after one season with the Tigers, per a post on his social media. He has three years of collegiate eligibility left.

Callaway saw limited playing time as a freshman, playing in seven games and appearing in the starting lineup twice. With his opportunities, the Georgia native batted .300 (3-for-10) with two doubles and three RBI's. He also posted a perfect fielding percentage.

The former No. 45-ranked recruit in the state of Georgia is among 10 confirmed players from Mizzou's 2025 roster who have entered the transfer portal, including outfielder Brady Picarelli and pitchers Brock Lucas, Wil Libbert, Charlie Miller, Tony Neubeck, Kaden Jacobi, Josh Kirchhoff, Seth McCartney and Jaylen Merchant.
