Three-star offensive lineman becomes 12th member of Mizzou’s 2027 class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A dozen players have now committed to joining Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz and company in Columbia, as of Tuesday.

The Tigers landed a commitment from three-star offensive tackle Jack Marquard. The Ohio native picked MU over offers from Indiana, Wake Forest, Duke, Louisville, Pittsburgh and others. He is now the third offensive lineman to commit to Coach Drink's 2027 class. You can find a full look at that class below (all rankings according to 247Sports).

  • Three-star linebacker Kobe Rhymes
  • Three-star wide receiver Chris Harris Jr.
  • Three-star defensive lineman Dami Sowunmi
  • Three-star safety Keiran Govan
  • Three-star quarterback Braylen Warren
  • Three-star safety Jabarri Lofton
  • Three-star linebacker Caleb Green
  • Three-star offensive lineman Luke Injaychock
  • Three-star offensive tackle Jack Marquard
  • Three-star punter Dane Olmstead

Mizzou's 2027 recruiting class now ranks No. 28 in the nation, according to 247Sports.

With Marquard's commitment to the Tigers, Coach Eli and his staff are getting a Top-50 prospect in the state of Ohio, as his commitment comes just days after a recent official visit to Columbia. Overall, Marquard is listed as the No. 1,307 overall player and No. 103 offensive tackle in the nation, according to 247Sports.
