Eli Drinkwitz makes late addition to 2026 recruiting class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Christmas may be in the rearview mirror, but 'flipmas' season is far from over.
On Monday, Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz made a late addition to his 2026 recruiting class in flipping the commitment of three-star defensive lineman Jocques Felix from Iowa State to Mizzou. With the St. Louis native's commitment, MU's 2026 class is now up to 20 pledges, ranking No. 32 in the nation according to 247Sports.
Felix will come to Columbia after a tremendous senior season at Cardinal Ritter, where he registered more than 100 tackles and 12 sacks for the Lions. That farewell campaign earned him an All-Metro selection from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
He is now the third defensive lineman in the class, joining four-star Tajh Overton and four-star JUCO transfer Demarcus Johnson. You can find a full look at Mizzou's 2026 class below (stars according to 247Sports).
