COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou women's basketball coach Kellie Harper made the first addition to her 2026 recruiting class, on Monday night, as forward Cecilie Brandimore committed to the Tigers.

The 6-foot-4 prospect picked Harper and company, after receiving an offer in May, over other offers from Minnesota, Louisiana Tech, Pepperdine, UT Martin and a slew of other schools.

Brandimore is coming off of an all-district and all-region season at Franklin High School. The Tennessee native averaged 24.9 points on 54 percent shooting from the field, 13.6 rebounds and three blocks through her junior campaign. Heading into her senior year, she's already made it into the 1,000 points club and surpassed 700 rebounds.

She already matches the tallest player Mizzou has on the roster, heading into the 2025-26 season. Jefferson City alum Hannah Linthacum also stands at 6-foot-4, while the next tallest player, Cleveland State transfer Jordana Reisma, is right behind her at 6-foot-3.
