Mizzou Wrestling shuts out Stanford, keeps undefeated record alive

PALO ALTO, Calif. (KMIZ)

No. 2 Mizzou Wrestling posted a dominating 39-0 shutout victory over No. 18 Stanford to win its seventh dual of the season. Brian Smith's crew remains undefeated after improving its record to 7-0 in duals.

Tiger Style won all 10 of its bouts on Wednesday night at Maples Pavilion and recorded one pinfall, one technical fall and four major decision victories.

Noah Surtin, Zeke Seltzer, Logan Gioffre and Brock Mauller all posted upset victories in their respective bouts.

Keegan O'Toole finished the dual with Mizzou's only pinfall victory while Kade Moore recorded Tiger Style's lone technical fall in the contest.

Up next - Mizzou travels to Morgantown for a conference dual with No. 20 West Virginia. This will be Tiger Style's fifth dual of the season against an opponent ranked No. 21 or higher. The dual is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26.
