RECAP: Mizzou football suffers first loss of the season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team fell by 10 points in a high-scoring, shootout on Saturday afternoon at Faurot Field. LSU managed to complete a comeback win against MU, 49-39, to hand head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company their first loss of the season.

At the midway point of the season, the Tigers are now 5-1, overall. After Saturday's loss, Drinkwitz emphasized that there is still a lot of football left to play.

" How do you respond to that disappointment," he said. "Ultimately, that's what's gonna determine that fate of our season."
