Mizzou women’s basketball falls flat in loss at Arkansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team had its lowest scoring game of the season on the road Sunday falling to Arkansas 61-33.

The Tigers struggling to get anything going scoring just 13 points in the first half and overall not reaching above ten points in each of the first three quarters. Overall, MU shot 1-of-15 from the three-point line and shot 28% from the field.

Mizzou was led by Hayley Frank with eight points and five rebounds. Ball security was a huge problem the group finishing the day with 22 turnovers and just five assists.

The Razorbacks have now won the last nine matchups with MU dating back to 2019.

With the loss, the Tigers fall to 15-10 on the season and 4-8 in SEC play with just four regular season games remaining.

Up next - MU will return home to take on Mississippi State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
