Royals postpone Friday’s game against Rays, Saturday now a doubleheader

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Royals have extended the All-Star break by a day as Kansas City announced that Friday night's game against the Tampa Bay Rays would be postponed until Saturday, July 15.

With the weather cancellation, KC and Tampa Bay will now play a split doubleheader at Kauffman Stadium with game one scheduled to start at 1:10 p.m and game two to follow at 6:10 p.m

According to the organization, tickets for Friday’s game can be used for game one on Saturday.
