Royals swept by Rangers in three-game series

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Kansas City Royals continue to search for some home wins after Wednesday's 12-3 loss against the Texas Rangers marks six straight home losses.

KC was outscored in the three-game series 28-5.

In Wednesday's series finale, Bobby Witt Jr., Franmil Reyes and Matt Duffy all brought home a run each, but the Royals struggled to put their nine total hits together.

On the mound, Brady Singer got the start going five innings and allowing five runs on six hits. Taylor Clarke and Scott Barlow each had time on the mound giving up three runs each.

The Royals are now 4-15 on the season. The team will now hit the road for a three-game series in Los Angeles. Game one against the Angels will be Friday at 8:38 p.m.
