NFL announces Chiefs’ schedule for 2024-25 season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Kansas City's full 2024-25 slate of games has been unveiled. The NFL released the full schedule for the upcoming season on Wednesday night, and the Chiefs have secured five primetime slots over the course of the 18-week season.

Patrick Mahomes and company will face the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Chargers in primetime during the 2024-25 season.

The Chiefs are scheduled to kick off their new campaign at home against the Ravens in an AFC Championship rematch, and the franchise's first road contest of the season is slated for Week 3 against the Falcons. The following week will feature Kansas City's first of six traditional divisional matchups, traveling to Los Angeles to play the Chargers.

A pair of games Chiefs fans will also be circling on the calendar are Kansas City's Super Bowl LVIII rematch against the San Francisco 49ers on the road during Week 7 and an AFC Divisional Round rematch in Buffalo, facing the Bills in Week 11.

For a second straight season, Andy Reid's crew will also play on Christmas Day. The Chiefs will kick off the NFL's Christmas doubleheader with a road matchup in Pittsburgh against the Steelers, which will air exclusively on Netflix.

  • Week 5: vs. New Orleans (Oct. 7 at 7:15 p.m.)
  • Week 6: BYE WEEK
  • Week 7: at San Francisco (Oct. 20 at 3:25 p.m.)
  • Week 8: at Las Vegas (Oct. 27 at 3:25 p.m.)
  • Week 9: vs. Tampa Bay (Nov. 4 at 7:15 p.m.)
  • Week 10: vs. Denver (Nov. 10 at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Week 11: at Buffalo (Nov. 17 at 3:25 p.m.)
  • Week 12: at Carolina (Nov. 24 at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Week 13: vs. Las Vegas (Nov. 29 at 2:00 p.m.)
  • Week 14: vs. Los Angeles Chargers (Dec. 8 at 7:20 p.m.)
  • Week 15: at Cleveland (Dec. 15 at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Week 16: vs. Houston (Dec. 21 at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Week 17: at Pittsburgh (Dec. 25 at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Week 18: at Denver (Jan. 4/5 at TBD)

The Chiefs will begin their quest to try and become the first NFL franchise to ever win three straight Super Bowl titles on Opening Night of the 2024-25 NFL season against Baltimore on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7:20 p.m.
