Chiefs agree to one-year deal with Marquise Brown

KMIZ

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Kansas City Chiefs added a new playmaker to their offense on Thursday night. Wide receiver Marquise Brown confirmed on social media that he is joining the Chiefs. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Brown agreed to a one-year deal worth as much as $11 million.

"Hollywood" Brown posted 51 catches for 574 yards and four touchdowns over 14 games last season with the Arizona Cardinals. Brown will be 27 years old when the 2024-25 season kicks off. He has played for both the Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens in his career.

Brown joins a Chiefs wide receiver room headlined by Patrick Mahomes' top target Rashee Rice, who fell just 62 yards short of 1,000 yards last season and also scored seven touchdowns as a rookie.

Kansas City is looking to become the first NFL franchise to win three straight Super Bowl titles.
