Tolton softball’s Bella Trim signs letter of intent

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One of Columbia's top high school pitchers made her college decision official.

Bella Trim from Tolton Catholic inked her letter of intent on Thursday, officially signing to play at Lindenwood University next year.

The senior led the Trailblazers to their second consecutive Class 4 state title. Over the course of the season, she struck out 262 batters while only allowing 18 earned runs. Tolton finished the year 32-5, capping it off in the state title game, where the girls defeated Kearney 2-1.

Lindenwood last season went 24-25, with a 14-12 record in the Ohio Valley Conference. Their team ERA was 3.31, with a combined strikeout total of 260
