Hickman boys basketball set to face Rock Bridge in crosstown showdown

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia's Providence Road rivals will battle on the basketball court at Rock Bridge High School. The Bruins are set to host the Hickman Kewpies in CMAC play with tipoff scheduled for Tuesday night at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Rock Bridge and Hickman are both having great seasons and are in the home stretch of conference action. The Bruins hold a 15-6 overall record and are 2-1 in CMAC play. Rock Bridge has also won three of its last four games.

Meanwhile, the Kewpies, who are ranked No. 8 in the latest MBCA Boys Basketball poll, have already posted 17 wins this season and have won three of their four games of conference play.

Both teams are chasing the Battle Spartans, who is in first place in the CMAC standings, so Tuesday's game is critical to Rock Bridge and Hickman's conference title aspirations.

This game will be broadcasted live on KZOU and streamed on the ABC 17 website.
