Battle opens up home gym for boys and girls basketball doubleheader

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Battle Boys and Girls Basketball is looking to protect its home court on Tuesday night in a CMAC doubleheader. Battle Girls Basketball is facing Helias at 6 p.m. followed by Battle Boys Basketball's game against Capital City.

Both games will be broadcasted live on KZOU, and you can watch the livestream on our website.

HELIAS VS. BATTLE

The Spartans have won four of their last five games and own a 2-1 record in conference play so far this season.

On the opposite end of the court, Helias is the No. 10 ranked team in Class 5, according to the latest MBCA basketball poll. The Crusaders have won three straight games and hold a 1-1 record in CMAC play. Helias did get the best of Battle 48-42 when these two teams met on Dec. 29.

CAPITAL CITY VS. BATTLE

According to the newest MBCA basketball poll, Battle enters this contest as the No. 2 ranked team in Class 6. The Spartans have won five of their last six games but have not played many CMAC games yet this season. Battle is a perfect 1-0 in conference play.

Meanwhile, Capital City is coming off a loss in its last game against Hazelwood East but did win its previous three games. The Cavaliers will look to win their first CMAC game on Tuesday night after starting conference play 0-3.
