No. 8 Mizzou softball postpones SEC opener due to weather

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 8 Mizzou softball team will have to wait to open up its first conference series against No. 18 Tennessee, as it had to postpone Friday's game due to snow.

The team said in a press release that the game will be made up in a doubleheader, but that time is still to be determined.

As of now, the remainder of the weekend's games remain as scheduled. The Tigers and the Vols will do battle on Saturday at 1 p.m. and then again on Sunday at 1 p.m.
