Mizzou safeties coach to step away from full-time position
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou football team announced that safeties coach Charlie Harbison will be stepping away from his full-time role to deal with family matters in North Carolina.
"Coach Cheese [Harbison] will remain a valued member of our program moving forward and we appreciate his commitment to Mizzou football," head coach Eli Drinkwitz said on Wednesday.
Mizzou did say that Harbison will be staying with the team in an undefined role in the future.
Drinkwitz now has two assistant coaching positions to fill for the 2022 season, as former tight ends coach Casey Woods left the program in early Dec. to fill the offensive coordinator position at SMU.
