Mizzou volleyball captures first home win of the season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

In the final game at the Hearnes Center this season, the Mizzou volleyball team captured its first home win of the year over the Tennessee Volunteers, 3-2.

The Tigers won three-straight sets to claim the win and improve to 5-24 overall this season.

Freshman Kayla Burbage led Mizzou with 19 kills, along with three blocks. Junior Anna Dixon and freshman Jordan Iliff were just behind her, tied up at 16 kills apiece.

Up next - head coach Josh Taylor and company will hit the road to meet Texas A&M in the final two matches of thee season.
