MU shined bright in the circle, with a standout performance from Laurin Krings. She pitched no-hit softball for 6 2/3 innings, however, a shot to left field broke it up with one out left to go in the ball game. The freshman finished with 10 strikeouts and just one hit on the afternoon.

It is the second game in a row that Mizzou has allowed just one hit through a game.

Up next - MU will have to beat all three teams to win its Regional, as the Iowa State Cyclones took down Northern Iowa in the Saturday night elimination game. Mizzou and Iowa State will have first pitch at 1 P.M.
