Mizzou loses series against No. 5 Tennessee; looking to avoid series sweep

COLUMBIA, Mo (KMIZ)

The Mizzou baseball team dropped game two of the weekend series with No. 5 Tennessee, 11-4.

The Volunteers got off to a quick start, with a four-run top of the first inning. Although the Tigers responded at the bottom of that inning and even tied the game in the third, they could not keep pace with Tennessee's bats.

Andrew Keefer went 2-for-3 on Saturday, producing his second multi-hit game of the series.

Up next - Mizzou will look to avoid the sweep on Sunday at Taylor Stadium. First pitch is at 1 P.M.
