Live Updates| Garcia downplays tension between LIV, PGA Tour
AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Sergio Garcia is tired of hearing about the tension between LIV and PGA Tour players. The former Masters champion and a now a current LIV tour member says things have been “totally normal” between the players this week at Augusta National before adding that the storyline is media driven. Garcia says “you guys are making a big deal out of this.” Garcia went to say he has had heard nothing but great things from every single player he’s spoke with at the tournament. He says the focus needs to be on the Masters, not any tension between the tours. Garcia shot 74 on Thursday and is nine shots behind leader Viktor Hovland.
