Baylor women showing they can win, even without Big 12 title

There will be no Big 12 regular-season title for the Baylor women for the first time in 13 seasons. But they can still clinch their 23rd consecutive season winning at least 20 games in their regular-season finale at home Saturday before going to the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments. The 19-10 Bears are 4-0 in road games against Top 25 teams, and just won at 12th-ranked Texas. After two-time Big 12 player of the year NaLyssa Smith was one of three Baylor players taken in the last WNBA draft, the Bears went into this season with eight newcomers.
