Binnington makes 31 saves, Blues hold off Senators 2-1

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jordan Binnington made 31 saves and Jake Neighbours and Noel Acciari scored first-period goals to help the St. Louis Blues to a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. St. Louis has won seven of the last nine against the Senators. Tim Stutzle scored his team-high 19th goal for Ottawa, which has lost four of five. St. Louis earned its 2,000th win all-time, becoming the eighth NHL team to reach that mark. The Blues entered the league in 1967.
