Shriver, Kern lead VCU past Dayton 63-62

DAYTON, Ohio — David Shriver scored 18 points to lead the VCU Rams and Nick Kern Jr. secured the victory with a layup with 16 seconds left as the Rams knocked off the Dayton Flyers 63-62. The Rams are now 13-5 on the season, while the Flyers fell to 12-6.
