Colts’ Saturday awaits coaching decision; Texans fire Smith

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Lovie Smith called his final game as the Houston Texans coach in their season finale. Whether Indianapolis Colts interim coach Jeff Saturday also is out remains to be seen. Just hours after the two closed out dismal seasons with a wild and intriguing fourth quarter that ended with the Texans rallying for a 32-31 victory, Smith was fired as the Texans coach. Now it’s up to Colts owner Jim Irsay to decide whether to keep Saturday or move in a different direction next season.
