Hornets’ Kelly Oubre to undergo surgery on his left hand
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Charlotte Hornets say guard Kelly Oubre Jr. will undergo surgery this week for a torn ligament in his left hand. Oubre had missed three of the team’s last four games and the Hornets haven’t said how much longer he’ll be out. The 27-year-old will have surgery on Thursday. He is averaging a career-high 20.2 points per game this season, shooting 42.1% from the field and 30.8% from 3-point range. He is averaging 5.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
