Watson: Stefanski connection, offense sold him on Browns

By TOM WITHERS

BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Deshaun Watson didn’t choose Cleveland because of its weather. But along with a $230 million fully guaranteed contract from the Browns, Watson was enticed to join the team after making a strong initial connection with coach Kevin Stefanski, who showed him the possibilities to shine in Cleveland’s offense. Watson has improved each week since returning from an 11-game NFL suspension for sexual misconduct allegations. He’s not all the way back, but Watson is getting better and to him that matters most. On Saturday, Watson and the Browns will face bone-chilling cold along with the New Orleans Saints.
