Raiders, Chargers renew rivalry with new faces in fold

The Los Angeles Chargers host the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in the season opener. The Raiders hired longtime New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as their new head coach, and followed it up by trading for wide receiver Davante Adams. The Chargers focused on defensive upgrades in the offseason, headlined by the trade for pass rusher Khalil Mack and signing of cornerback J.C. Jackson.
