ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Clayton Kershaw has thrown seven perfect innings for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Los Angeles Angels. The veteran left-hander has needed just 71 pitches to sit down 21 consecutive batters at Angel Stadium on Friday night. Kershaw has pitched one no-hitter in his career, back in 2014. Sandy Koufax threw the only perfect game in Dodgers history on Sept. 9, 1965. The 34-year-old Kershaw was selected to the NL All-Star team for the ninth time earlier this month, and he is a candidate to start at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night. He has won three Cy Young Awards.
