Down, not out: Close wins keep Clemson in ACC contention

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson is using a different approach to stay in contention for yet another ACC title. The Tigers have dominated league opponents en route to capturing six straight conference titles. This season, Clemson’s has depended on timely offense and determined defense to win games. While the Tigers need help to earn that seventh ACC crown, coach Dabo Swinney and his players are enjoying the ride. Linebacker James Skalski says he’s never had as much fun as this year and he was part of Clemson’s 2016 and 2018 national champions.
