CONCACAF heralds more competition opportunities for women

CONCACAF has announced plans for a new Women’s World Cup qualification tournament structure and a Women’s Gold Cup, aimed at creating more opportunities for elite competition in the region. The CONCACAF W Championship will take place next summer and serve as qualification for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The Women’s Gold Cup final will be held in 2024.
