Mizzou football moves up in both major Top-25 polls

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team is continuing its upward climb in the national polls, heading into Week 3 of the season.

For the second-straight week, head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company moved up in both of the major polls, going up three spots to No. 20 in the AP Poll and up one spot to No. 22 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. That comes after the Tigers went into enemy territory, in Lawrence, Kansas, and walked away with a 17-point win over the rival Jayhawks.

MU is now off to its fifth 2-0 start to the season of the Coach Drinkwitz era.

The Southeastern Conference is well-represented in both polls, as Mizzou is one of the nine squads included in the Top-25 lists. You can find a full look at both polls below.
