Drew Lock joins Mizzou Athletics Hall of Fame 2026 class

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former Tiger quarterback Drew Lock earned a spot in the Mizzou Athletics Hall of Fame, becoming the sixth person to join the 2026 class.

On Wednesday, Mizzou football posted a video to social media of the current Seahawks quarterback receiving the news from former coach Andy Hill, who was also admitted to the hall of fame this year.

Shortly after the announcement, Lock took to social media and said, "Truly at a loss for words. My family and I are incredibly honored. It's hard to put into words what this means to us. I'll always have so much love for the state of Missouri and for Mizzou football."

In his four years in Columbia, he threw for 12,193 yards and 99 touchdowns, both second in Mizzou history to the 2007 Heisman finalist Chase Daniel. He surpasses 200 passing yards in 34 games, and hold 10 of the top 25 single game passing efficiency marks.

Lock was drafted 42nd overall in the 2019 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. After bouncing between several teams in his career, he earned his first career Super Bowl ring with the Seattle Seahawks during the 2025-26 season.
