KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou volleyball team announced its full competition slate for the 2026 season, on Tuesday.

Head coach Dawn Sullivan and company will host seven non-conference and eight Southeastern Conference clashes at the Hearnes Center in Coach Sullivan's fourth season at the helm.

The 2026 campaign will start with a pair of exhibition matches. The first will be held in Columbia against Drake on Aug. 15. Then, Sullivan and her squad will travel to Springfield, Mo. to face Tulsa in their second exhibition game. After that, non-conference lay will get going at the Hearnes Center, as Western Illinois, Towson and Idaho will all come to town for the Mizzou Tournament.

The Tigers will face plenty of tests throughout the 2026 season, especially in the non-conference slate. MU is meeting a total of 10 NCAA Tournament squads, including Nebraska, Louisville, Arkansas State, Florida Gulf Cost and Toledo.

Mizzou will also participate in a couple of big-time conference showdowns in the upcoming year. First up - the Tigers will welcome Oregon to the Hearnes Center for the SEC/Big 10 Challenge on Sept. 1. That challenge will continue when Coach Sullivan and her team take center stage for a one-of-a-kind match at Wrigley Field against Nebraska on Sept. 6. MU will wrap up the conference showdowns with a clash against Louisville in the ACC/SEC Challenge in Kentucky on Sept. 9.

After the 12-game non-conference schedule wraps up, Mizzou will take on the 15-game SEC slate, which will all culminate with the SEC Tournament at the end of November.
