Mizzou baseball nets second FGCU transfer

Tiger baseball has made a third addition from the transfer portal.

Javier Gorostola committed to come play for Mizzou after an impressive three years at FGCU. During his redshirt sophomore season, the infielder earned an all-ASUN selection recording 76 hits, 42 runs, and 56 RBIs.

The power hitter also raked in 13 home runs and 13 doubles while still hitting at .370 clip. Defensively, he posted 48 assists, and 21 put outs.

He is the third player, and second from FGCU, to join the Tigers' roster for 2027. You can view a full list of incoming transfers below.
