Eli Drinkwitz grabs 14th commitment in Class of 2027

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

It may be getting hot in Missouri, but for Tiger football coach Eli Drinkwitz, it's 'flipmas' season.

On Tuesday, Tiger football coach Eli Drinkwitz landed a commitment from three-star interior offensive lineman Tristan Dare, who had been previously pledged to Michigan. Dare, who was named a US Navy All-American offensive lineman, is the No. 54 interior offensive lineman in the Class of 2027 and the No. 111 recruit in all of the state of Texas, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound prospect - a native of Southlake, Texas - is the fourth offensive lineman to join Mizzou's 2027 class. He picked the Tigers over other 34 other offers, including ones from Michigan, Arizona State and Washington.

Coach Drinkwitz's recruiting class is now up to 14 commitments, as it ranks No. 29 in the nation, according to 247Sports. You can find a full look at the 2027 class below.
